Found screened at the Madison Horror Film Festival in Wisconsin on Saturday, November 3rd. The festival, which was hosted by local horror hosts FreakShow and Sin D’Vicious of Bordello of Horror, was a two-day extravaganza of independent horror. Actor Robert Z’Dar was present for a special screening of his cult classic Maniac Cop and part of the festival’s proceeds were donated to the Dane County Humane Society.
Found won two awards at the festival — best director (Scott Schirmer) and best special effects (Arthur Cullipher and Shane Beasley of The Clockwerk Creature Company). Found was also nominated for best feature and best screenplay.
